The response to my most recent song, Soma By Drone, has been fantastic and very humbling. Simply put, it's a song about escaping, but like many of my songs it has ‘layers’ in terms of what the lyrics drive at. My favourite artists rarely explained in detail what their songs meant, and I totally subscribe to this. It doesn't matter if the listener understands what the auteur intended. It's not a competition nor a quiz. It only matters that the audience gets something from it that means something to them.
I also made a video for Soma By Drone in the environs of the gorgeous Ohori Park in Fukuoka City, where I currently reside. Hope you like it!
I'm currently putting the finishing touches to my next track. I've got so much material written and am desperate to record and share all of it.
